We, here at MEG are so thankful for a generous community that supports the arts.  Here is how we tried to give back to our community in 2016-2017:

    1. We hosted over 600 local high school students at our production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD for free.  No  charge was applied to the students or the schools.

    2.  We led educational talk-backs with students of Washington County to discuss the importance of the themes presented in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.

    3.  We provided our annual Shakespeare in the Park production in June/July that was free to all ages, and had our largest Shakespeare audiences to date!

    4.  We hosted the Barbara Ingram Freshmen class for a free production of our Christmas production, A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS.

    5.  We gave a Shakespeare lecture at the Washington County Free Library.

    6.  We volunteered performers for the National Reading Day at the Washington County Free Library.

    7.  We provided carolers for downtown events for the City of Hagerstown.

  8.  We provided performances of AN EVENING WITH POE and A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS for the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts.
