We, here at MEG are so thankful for a generous community that supports the arts.  Here is how we tried to give back to our community.

1. We hosted over 600 local high school students at our production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD for free.  We also led educational talk-backs with the students to discuss the importance of the themes presented in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.

2. In June/July of 2017 we provided our annual Shakespeare in the Park production that was free to all ages, and had our largest Shakespeare audiences to date!

3. In October 2017, we presented DRACULA, our very first original production written by company members, Sam Little and Seth Thompson.

4. We performed our elementary school touring show IF ONLY THE LONELY WERE HOME during the fall semester for over 1,800 Washington County Elementary schools students for free.  No  charge was applied to the students or the schools.

5. We provided carolers for downtown events for the City of Hagerstown.

Thank you for your donations to MEG on Washington County Gives Day! We raised over $5,000 and won a Golden Ticket Prize!
