Comedy of Errors: Cast Bios


Jacob Reese (Dromio of Ephesus) is thrilled to be returning to the stage one again.  This is his third production with M.E.G., the first being Shakespeare in the park: Cymbeline, and the second, The Three Musketeers.  Jacob is glad to get to work with so many friends both new and old. As always, he is eternally grateful to his family and friends for their support and food.  


Paola Torres (Angela) is an HCC theater graduate who is currently a seasonal entertainment cast member at Walt Disney World. In addition to working for the Walt Disney Company, Paola studies strategic communications at Shepherd University. Some of Paola's previous roles include Donna Estefana (The Three Musketeers), Penny Pingleton (Hairspray), Little Red Ridinghood (Into the Woods), and Antigone (Oedipus and Antigone). While this is the fourth MEG production where she has taken the stage, Paola has also enjoyed being their Box Office representative along with various roles backstage!


Seth Thompson (Luciano) is the production manager for MEG and has been a performer with the company since his first show with them titled: The Pillowman.  He recently made his directorial debut with MEG’s Fool for Love.  You may remember him Rochefort in The Three Musketeers, or George in Of Mice and Men.


Jacob Waeyaert (Dromio of Syracuse) has been involved with various shows with MEG during the past few years. Having been acting since his freshman year of high school, some of his favorite roles through that time include Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer. Performing is a fun hobby; however, Jacob's true passion is writing, and he hopes to be a successful playwright one day.


Lydia Winebrenner (Duchess/Dr. Pinch) is ecstatic to be working on her fourth production with MEG. Previously she was seen on stage in The Three Musketeers (Queen Anne), Hamlet (Guildenstern), and Dracula (Bride #1). She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey with a BA in Theatre Arts with an acting concentration. There she was cast in The Idiot (Daria). Prior to FDU, she attended HCC and received an AA in Theatre. Her roles included Any Body For Tea (Miss Hildegarde), A Chorus Line (Bobbi), David and Lisa (Dr. Swinford), The Game's Afoot (Inspector Goring), and Sly Fox (Jethro Crouch). A massive thank you to everyone involved with MEG for this wonderful opportunity and thank you to my family and friends for all the love and support!


Shannen Banzhoff (Police Officer) is a graduate of Shepherd University, Shannen holds a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance - Musical Theatre, and a bachelor's degree in Music Education. She frequently performs at and choreographs for multiple theatres in the MD and WV areas, most recently appearing in The Washington County Playhouse's production of Disney's High School Musical as Gabriella Montez. Favorite past roles include:  Louise in GYPSY & Gabriella in Boeing Boeing (Washington County Playhouse), Princess Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress (Apollo Civic Theatre), Dorothy Gale in Wizard of Oz (Old Opera House), and Kate Monster in Avenue Q (Shepherd University).  


Sean Besecker (Courtesan/Merchant) graduated from HCC in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Theater. He is from Chambersburg, PA. Some of his past roles include Lennie in Of Mice and Men, William Gillette/Sherlock Holmes in The Game’s Afoot, John Proctor in The Crucible, and Zach in A Chorus Line. He played Dr. Gerald Sumner in the Potomac Playmakers’ 90th Anniversary production of The Boomerang. He has also portrayed Tybalt in MEG’s production of Romeo and Juliet and Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird.


Rennes Carbaugh (Adrian) is a graduate of Fairmont State University with a BA in Theatre and AA in Ballroom Dancing. Rennes trained in everything from Classical Acting to Lighting Design to Theatre for Young Audiences. He also studied movement and acting (focus on Classical work and Meisner technique) with Jeffrey Ingman. Rennes currently studies voice under Joe Regan. Favorite past roles include Harold Hill (The Music Man), Bobby (Company), Archibald Craven  (The Secret Garden), and Leo Bloom (The Producers.)  He would like to thank his parents  and Shannen for their encouragement, support, and love. Seth Funk (2nd Merchant, Kitchen Wench) is currently enrolled as a Theatre Major at HCC and is ecstatic to be a part of his second MEG show, the first being The Three Musketeers (Planchet). You may have seen him previously in Doctor Faustus (Faustus), Spamalot (Galahad), and Phineas (Writer). He thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy MEG's production of The Comedy of Errors!


Anne Hunt (Antiphola of Syracuse) is happy to be a part of her fifth Shakespeare in the Park production! As a passionate performer and advocate of the arts, Anne enjoys her work with MEG and her job as the Programming Director of The Maryland Theatre. Anne is thankful for her hardworking and encouraging parents, for her creative and talented boyfriend and considers it a real blessing to act alongside of him. “Act well your part; there all the honor lies.” Alexander Pope


Megan Siebeneichen (Antiphola of Ephesus) is a 4th grade Elementary School Teacher and 2018 graduate of Towson University with a major in Elementary Education. This will be Megan’s 6th production with Maryland Entertainment Group. She has played Luisa in The Fantasticks, Ophelia in Hamlet, Helen in Cymbeline, Jessica is Merchant of Venice, and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. You also may have seen her as Kristine in A Chorus Line (Robinwood Players). Theater has always been a passion for Megan. She is very excited to be part of this wonderful cast!


Sam Little (Director, Abbot) studied theatre as a BFA Performance major at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where he also spent most of his career, performing at numerous venues including:  Orlando Shakespeare The¬atre, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Universal Studios and Pirate's Dinner Adven¬ture stunt show.  For the past 3 years Sam has also worked with The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire serving as Lead Performance Director and as Casting Director for 2018 & 2019. Sam has also been featured on AMC's Making of the Mob (Abe Reles), Fox News' Legends and Lies (General Winfield Scott Hancock), Investigation Discovery Channel’s Evil Step Mothers (James Batten) and Antietam Cable's Dining Guide (Host) since moving to Maryland. Favorite MEG roles: Shylock (Merchant of Venice), Rothko (Red) & Uncle Peck (How I Learned to Drive).


Anna Kurtz (Egea, Assistant Director) is a Pennsylvania based actress, fight choreographer, and educator.  Previous MEG roles include: Lil’ Bit (How I Learned to Drive), Player Queen (Hamlet), and the Doctor (Cymbeline). She has taught at a variety of venues, including school residencies with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, summer camps at Everyman Theatre, workshops at Gettysburg College, Mount Saint Mary’s, and HCC, and after-school/enrichment programs in the US and UK. Anna trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK (MA in Professional Acting). She is a certified actor-combatant with BADC (British Academy of Dramatic Combat).
